Team with Us on LG-CSCI2
The US Air Force and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) have announced their intention to pursue a follow-on effort to the Landing Gear Collaborative Supply Chain Integration (LG-CSCI) contract. This new acquisition is being called LG-CSCI2.
The intent of LG-CSCI2 is to build upon the lessons learned from the LG-CSCI program and further increase the readiness of the US AF fleet. The LG-CSCI2 goals include:
- Achieve and maintain a 95% On Time Delivery (OTD) for DLA managed consumables parts,
- Achieve and maintain a 90% OTD for USAF managed parts,
- Right size Production Lead Times (PLTs),
- Adjust purchasing behavior to better leverage the 417th Supply Chain Management Squadron’s buying power, and
- Improve and expand the current repairable and consumable spare part supplier industrial base.
LG-CSCI2 will be a single award contract consisting of a five-year base period and a five-year option period. The total duration of the LG-CSCI2 contract, to include the option period, shall not exceed ten (10) years.
